Who can enroll

For medical, dental and vision coverage, you can cover:

  • Your lawful spouse
  • Your children up to age 26
  • Your children of any age who have a documented physical or intellectual disability that makes them dependent upon you (proof of disability required)

A dependent child can be a natural child, stepchild, foster child, legally adopted child (from the date of placement for adoption), or any child for whom you have legal custody, provided the child lives with you and relies on you for support.

Adult children until the end of the month that they turn age 26 (and are then able to continue benefits through COBRA), are eligible for medical, vision and dental coverage, as well as Child Life Insurance, regardless of their place of residence, marital status, student status or eligibility to enroll in another employer-sponsored health plan.

Note: Married employees of Givaudan who enroll for health care benefits must ensure that one employee enrolls as “Employee” and the other enrolls as “Spouse” or coverage will be ineffective.
